The nak was accepted into the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage items

Back in 2023, the naga (or nak in Lao) motif was inscribed on to the UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.  This was the video submission presented to UNESCO for consideration.
