These are the stylized impressionist paintings from Mr. Ananh Chanthasone of Savannakhet, Laos. He teaches at the Savannakhet Fine Arts School.
This set of paintings are inspired by village life of women doing different activities.
What I particularly love is how he infuses nature into his paintings in a very creative and unexpected way. If you look closely, you can see the characters are actually made of leaves, flowers petals, branches, and mushrooms.
I love the ethereal look this gives to the paintings.
