As if the beautiful temple weren't enough, the night sky is topped with a luminescent full moon. Luangprabang's famed Wat Xieng Thong (pronounced vat siang tong) is one of the city's oldest and prettiest temples. It had royal patronage prior to 1975 and has some of the best preserved architecture, as well as, historical artifacts. Definitely worth a visit!
