Question: What's the funniest or oddest comment/question you've received either online or in real life about Laoconnection.com?Answer: Someone once left a comment on the blog a few years ago asking what seemed to be a snooty or rude question. The words were along the lines of "what makes you an expert on Laos?".
In my cheeky reply, I made clear that I never claimed to be an expert on Laos or Lao culture and that I too continually learn new things about it and choose to share it on the blog. And if I remember correctly, I jokingly ended the response by signing it with The Expert crossed out.
