Although the deadline for the registration for attending isn't until April 30, 2016, the deadline for the call for papers and to submit your abstract is coming up soon - October 31, 2015.
The Lao Studies Conference for 2016 has been set for July 8-10, 2016. It will be held at Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand in the Pha Phrachan campus. It's held only once every 3 years.
