One of My Fave Lao "Fast Food" Items

In Laos, one of the most common and delicious meals to be had is pictured here.  They're often sold at restaurants, food markets and side street vendors and can easily be considered Lao versions of fast food (but totally healthier of course!).

Barbequed chicken, papaya salad (with extra padek please), and can't forget the fresh warm sticky rice and dipping sauce.  Preferably enjoyed with friends, cold Beer Lao, sitting along the Mekong River.
