Lao Language: Market Phrases (extra)

There's an interesting expression or phrase you may hear while shopping out in the markets in Laos, whether in Vientiane, Savannakhet or wherever in Laos.  The expression roughly translates into "help me out by buying from me."

Above, written in 2 ways in English (with or without koy).  You'll hear this as you pass by sales stalls.  It's a semi-polite way for a seller to get your attention.  I always felt the phrase is also a bit of way to guilt you into buy from them :-).  Either way, it does get your attention!
