Laos has NO reported
cases of SARS at this time. The only affect SARS has had on Laos is
an economic one (just as the Asian Economic Crisis fallout affected
Laos).
Tourism industry
has lessened a great deal in all parts of Asia and in Asian communities
around the world because of SARS. Tourism is a big key source of revenue
for Laos and for the many Laotian businesses, vendors, guesthouses
and hotels, etc. Help support tourism industry by visiting and making
sure others know that there are NO SARS cases there.
